- Hi I'm Laurel Parks and I am passionate about introducing adults to the fiddle! As the owner of the online teaching platform Drunken Fiddles, I specialize in teaching adult beginners how to play the fiddle from the absolute beginning. I've had hundreds of people successfully welcome the fiddle into their lives and make it their own (kind of like a pet or an extra family member). We learn concepts quickly, but practice together in a way that builds both muscle memory and relaxation slowly.

I love being creative and passing on my inspiration to my students. My musical projects include the Wires String Duo, In the Pines and Of Tree. I have played professionally with several symphony Orchestras and with artists including Amy Grant, Disturbed, Evanescence and Josh Grobin.
